Your Golf Pro
Pinpoint Golf Pro Mat Perry has a wealth of golfing experience, having represented NZ since 2009. A former New Zealand Amateur Champion and Eisenhower Trophy rep, Mat has played in over 25 countries during his career and spent the past seven years playing professionally in China and Europe.
Having lived in Melbourne since turning Pro, Mat quickly found success in partnering with Crown Casino in a VIP hosting role for their clients, guiding guests around its private course. Mat has a great passion for sharing his golfing knowledge and helping others realise their potential whilst playing this great game. Now based in Hawke's Bay, Mat enjoys having the opportunity to showcase his homeland to golfers of all backgrounds and abilities.
Learn to play golf with your very own Pro
You and your group will have complete access to Mat each and every day you choose to play or practice golf.
Your time will be customised to suit your group numbers and golfing ability. Choose from one of the following levels to help us create your unique golfing experience.
Entry Level
Learn valuable skills to enhance your golfing ability. This program is aimed at the golfer wanting to learn the game for the first time or for a group who is relatively new to golf.
The aim of this program is to learn the fundamentals of playing golf and to grow your golfing confidence over the time spent with Mat. You will get to experience playing with a tour Professional and learn firsthand how to play golf.
Experienced Level
Gain valuable on course tuition to help increase your golfing knowledge with this program for those who already have experience playing golf.
With more emphasis on playing golf rather than learning the basics, Mat will take you on course and observe your game as you play together. Use Mat’s knowledge to grow all areas of your game. Improve skills like green reading or bunker play, as well as tips to lower your scores with better course management.

To book your Pinpoint Golfing Experience simply state the number of guests and the amount of days you would like the experience to go for.
If you have a mix of entry level and experienced level golfers in the same group, we can adjust the experience accordingly and treat every guest on a case by case basis, customising the time specifically to meet your needs.

Booking Information
There is no limit on group numbers, however the more intimate the number – the more time spent with Mat. Kākā New Zealand will book and manage all of your local arrangements.
Large groups are also welcome, and we suggest the use of an additional Pro for groups larger than 8. Our aim is to ensure everyone is learning and developing their golfing skills and ultimately enjoying their Pinpoint Golfing Experience.
